About Carter Towler

Carter Towler was created in 2008 by the merger of Towlers and Carter and Co, two of the best known commercial surveying and property consultancy names in Leeds.

The merger formed one of the biggest independent agency practices outside London, with Carter Towler occupying a unique position in the property consultancy hierarchy by providing the sort of multi-disciplined services normally associated with the larger national and international firms, combined with an exceptional, regional knowledge base.

Over the years the company has garnered a large number of leading national and regional property industry awards. We are particularly proud of the ones we have achieved consecutively for example Estate Gazette's Agency Deals Winner and Overall Regional Winner awards, both of which we have held for 10 years.

The firm has grown consistently since 2008 with clients attracted by a wide range of services, commercial success and customer-focused delivery, managed by an experienced team of directors and senior surveyors handling client relationships on a day-to-day basis.

Many of our team have been with the company throughout the majority of their career, bringing experience, knowledge, innovation and continuity. In particular, we are very proud of the fact that the company not only managed to retain all personnel during the economic downturn, but actually recruited during this time.

Different departments work in close collaboration facilitated by the latest systems and technology to provide a seamless service for all property requirements, including strategic advice, asset management, Agency disposals and acquisitions, Building Consultancy, Landlord and Tenant, Valuation services and Rating.

The company is represented on a variety of industry bodies ranging from national RICS roles, including lead author status, to regional steering groups for Leeds City Council and is often appointed to work in a joint agent role with national and international agencies.
