Carter Towler is acknowledged as having one of the largest and most successful independent Property Management divisions outside London.

Established in 1948 as part of the original B P Towler, our highly regarded 25 strong team successfully manages over 3,500 properties for some 250 clients.

The department has grown tremendously through client recommendation and its ability to offer a wide range of services, whilst consistently introducing successful strategies that minimise risk and manage liabilities, whilst concentrating on tenant retention.

Efficient and creative asset management solutions are delivered by a team of experienced and innovative personnel, assisted by regular, ongoing communication with other Carter Towler departments, particularly Commercial Agency and Building Consultancy, in order to share ideas, market and technical knowledge.

Carter Towler is immensely proud of its consistently low staff churn rate with many staff having been with the company for the majority of their careers, enabling effective working relationships, understanding and continuity.

The latest client management information systems allow new information to be quickly and efficiently processed, whilst a team of property inspectors are employed to facilitate random inspections to ensure the managed assets are performing to maximum effect.

The Property Management team acts for a broad range of clients and properties, from city centre retail and offices, industrial estates, single or multiple units in markets and secondary towns through to multi-million pound national portfolios.

Geographically, properties are spread across most of the UK, including almost every single town and city in the north of England.

Services include rent and service charge collection, financial compliance, maintenance and refurbishment, asset management and protection. Carter Towler is regulated on compliance matters by the RICS.
